Quilting Meet & Greet
Calling all quilting enthusiasts! There will be a Quilting Meet & Greet on February 23rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Viborg Public Library. You will have the opportunity to fill out a survey to determine what you would like to see offered at the new quilting store that will be opening soon. Contact Anita at 660-8610 with any questions. Viborg City Council Vacancy
Petitions for a vacancy in Ward III on the Viborg City Council will be accepted at City Hall from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. through February 24th. Contact the Finance Officer at City Hall with any questions.

Meals on Wheels Volunteers Needed
Share an hour or more of your time to bring good food and friendship to your Viborg neighbors. Â Sometimes all it takes to brighten someone’s day is a smile and the hand of friendship. Â The Meals on Wheels Program needs volunteers to help deliver hot meals to Viborg shut-ins. Â To volunteer, or for more information, call Bonnie at Pioneer Memorial Hospital, 326-5161.

Lenten Worship Schedule
Lenten Worship Services will be held in Viborg on the following dates. Â All worship times will be 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, February 22nd – Ash Wednesday: This is an Ash Wednesday service by Our Savior’s in which some of the area pastors will participate. Â All churches are invited to attend.
Wednesday, February 29th – Week of Lent 1: Hear, O Israel: The encounter between Jesus and the scribe still resonates today. Â How would we have responded to the scribe’s question? Â Does the covenant with God truly form the bedrock of our own lives? Â Worship at First Baptist with Pastor Unzicker preaching.
Wednesday, March 7th – Week of Lent 2: You Shall Love the Lord Your God with All Your Heart: True obedience and understanding come from the heart. Â How can we respond to God’s love from the depths of our hearts? Â Worship at Bethany with Pastor Dachtler preaching.
Wednesday, March 14th – Week of Lent 3: Â You Shall Love the Lord Your God with All Your Soul: Our souls thirst for the living God. Â When trouble comes and faith waivers, in whom do we place our hope? Â Worship at United Methodist with Pastor Gronseth preaching.
Wednesday, March 21st – Week of Lent 4: You Shall Love the Lord Your God with All Your Mind: Solomon prayed to God for an understanding mind, able to discern good from evil. Â How can we use our minds to walk in faithfulness to Christ? Â Worship at Nazarene with Pastor Steinwand preaching.
Wednesday, March 28th – Week of Lent 5: You Shall Love the Lord Your God with All Your Strength: Christ took upon himself the weakness of the cross to triumph in strength over the grave. Â Truly, God is our strength and our salvation. Â Worship at Spring Valley with Pastor Engelke preaching.

Viborg Area Weight Watchers
New members are always welcome to join the Viborg Weight Watchers group. Â Meetings are held on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. at Pioneer Memorial Hospital’s Holiday Room (in the basement of the hospital). Â Weigh in’s begin at 5:00 p.m. Â Anyone can attend a meeting for free with no obligation to join! Â Call Karen Larsen at 327-3460 with questions.
